The line-up for Hamburg Metal Dayz 2017 is shaping up: Today we can announce the crazy Norwegians of Trollfest and hardrocking party master John Diva for September 22nd and 23rd!

Trollfest have been spreading their shenanigans since 2004 and open up their folk metal for everything fun - even if it means inventing a language of their own named Trollspråk. John Diva and his Rockets Of Love stick to the universal language of hard rock and have their fun with glam and stadion sounds.

We are happy to announce the next four bands for this year's Hamburg Metal Dayz: Sodom, Dool, Spoil Engine and TuXedoo will join the party on September 22 and 23 in Markthalle Hamburg!

Sodom have been an integral part of Germany's metal scene ever since their foundation in 1981. With their latest release "Decision Day" they offer yet another heavy dose of pure thrash glory!

Dool is the new project of members from bands such as Elle Bandita and The Devil's Blood. Their debut "Here Now, There Then" garnered them and their gloomy blend of hard and psychedelic rock a lot of attention - and rightly so!

Spoil Engine and Dool share the facts that they both are fronted by charismatic female singers and (partly) from the Netherlands - but that's where the similarities end: Spoil Engine are experts for hard-hitting melodic death with great melodies and are not to be missed!

The last band addition for today are TuXedoo with their self-proclaimed style of "Original Austrian Alpencore". If you doubt that lederhosen are metal, you should check them out and find yourself proven wrong.

Knorkator and Any Given Day will be in good company for this year's Hamburg Metal Dayz: Phil Rudd, Der Weg Einer Freiheit and Tast Of Greed will rock Hamburg on September 22nd and 23rd, too!

We are proud to have a real legend join this event: Phil Rudd was the long-time drummer for none other than AC/DC and has written rock history and inspired countless musicians with his powerful style. In 2014 he released his first solo record "Head Job".

Hailing from Würzburg, Germany, Der Weg Einer Freiheit were able to make themselves known internationally with their thrilling version of black metal.

Local heroes Taste Of Greed complete this batch of bands and bring some fresh melodic death to the table.

Right after the sold out Hamburg Metal Dayz 2016 we can tell you a few things about next year's edition: On September 22 and 23 we once again invite you to Markthalle for the heaviest event in the context of Reeperbahn Festival!

With German metalcore breakthrough act Any Given Day and the self-proclaimed "most band in the world" Knorkator the first musical guests have just been announced but there is more: We invite professionals and musicians to share their know-how on every aspect of the Metal-business with you, there will be the opportunity to meet your favorite bands and you can take part in various special activities.
